Marcevir L. Bernardo, CPA, Partner of the Northeast Region of TCBA Watson Rice LLP, has more than 20 years of extensive professional experience in providing various types of audit and consulting services to both public and private entities. He leads the firm’s professional development and quality control programs, and serves as engagement partner on audits provided to various government and not-for-profit organizations and employee benefits plans.

Mr. Bernardo is well versed in the reporting requirements of the Single Audit Act for government and not-for-profit, as well as the Employee Retirement Income Security Act of 1974 (ERISA) for employee benefit contracts, and overhead rates of architectural and engineering firms contracted by government agencies in accordance with the Cost Accounting Standards and Federal Acquisition Regulations.

He is a CPA and a graduate of Queens College of the City University of New York. He is a member of the AICPA, the NYSSCPAs, the New Jersey Society of Certified Public Accountants and the Philippine Institute of Certified Public Accountants
